Delska may technically not be a full cloud provider according to my definition. I am happy to feature Delska regardless because they take an important place with six data centres in the baltics. The baltic digital landscape is underserved with compute power. Players like Delska are needed to fill this gap.
Features & Services
myDelska Cloud Platform provides a transparent self-service environment to deploy and manage virtual machines instantly. It serves as a streamlined alternative for those seeking a modern and transparent cloud experience outside of the VMware ecosystem. Key features include:
- Rapid VM deployment: launch Linux or Windows VMs in seconds using optimized, predefined configurations (with fully customizable options currently in development).
- Unmetered traffic & predictable billing: simplified cost control with transparent pricing and pay-as-you-go models.
- Security & networking: integrated private/shared firewall templates and customizable IP assignments.
- Backup & resilience: advanced backup policies and VM protection tools.
- Monitoring & alerts: real-time insights with notifications via email, Slack, or SMS.
- Easy management: API access & one portal for VMs, billing, contracts, and support tickets.
This platform suits cloud-native applications, development/test environments, databases, and business systems demanding flexibility and ease of use.
For organizations requiring a robust enterprise-level solution with individual configurations, VMware Public Cloud offers scalable, reliable infrastructure backed by VMware Cloud Director. Designed specifically for complex business architectures, customers can customize and scale according to project requirements and seamlessly extend their existing on-premises VMware environments with Delska’s cloud. Optional enhancements span monitoring, managed services, backup, and firewall integrations. Delska also designs and builds fully custom private cloud solutions for organizations demanding the highest levels of control and privacy. These environments are constructed using dedicated hardware resources and can be tailored with various hypervisors, including Hyper-V and others, depending on specific technical requirements.
Developer Experience
Delska provides a modern developer experience designed to support automation, integration, and self-service control on myDelska Cloud Platform.
API
The myDelska API enables programmatic management of virtual machines within the platform. Customers can automate essential VM lifecycle operations to support operational automation and infrastructure control.
The API provides a structured and secure way to integrate VM management into existing systems and workflows, extending the capabilities of the myDelska platform beyond the web interface.
Web Console
The intuitive myDelska web console provides a unified control plane for developers and ops teams to manage virtual servers, networking, storage, backups, and user access. The dashboard consolidates management of VMs, billing, support tickets, and activity logs, offering visibility and operational control without relying solely on command-line tooling.
Remote Access
Built-in console access (e.g., VNC) enables direct interaction with VM instances for troubleshooting, configuration, and remote administration directly within the platform UI.
Data Centres
Delska operates 6 data centers across Latvia and Lithuania, providing a resilient regional infrastructure footprint in the Baltics.
The Delska data centers are:
- EU North Riga LV DC1 (Riga, Latvia)
- EU North Riga LV DC2 (Riga, Latvia)
- EU North Riga LV DC3 (Riga, Latvia)
- EU North Vilnius LT DC1 (Vilnius, Lithuania)
- EU North Vilnius LT DC2 (Vilnius, Lithuania)
- EU North Vilnius LT DC3 (Vilnius, Lithuania)
All facilities are designed for high availability and redundancy, with 3 flagship locations specifically certified according to Tier III Design and Facility standards. Every site is supported by independent power feeds, backup generators, and advanced cooling systems.
Committed to sustainable and secure operations, the data centers operate in accordance with internationally recognized standards, including ISO/IEC 27001(information security), ISO 22301 (business continuity), ISO 50001 (Energy Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), among other baseline certifications (such as ISO 9001,and others), ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant hosting environments.
The infrastructure is interconnected via high-capacity regional backbone connectivity, enabling low-latency services across the Baltics and into major European hubs.
